The project Connect’ED aims to respond to challenges linked to the insufficient exploitation of the potential of the Meuse-Rhine region, by enabling young people to discover the advantages of the border area from an early age and throughout their education.
Linguistic, cultural and structural barriers make cross-border educational exchanges and the search for qualified personnel difficult, as the labour market is still largely determined by national and linguistic borders. Young people are also reluctant to cross borders for educational reasons, which leads to a loss of opportunities.
Connect’ED therefore aims to offer young people the opportunity to discover and experience the Euregio from an early age and as a result, this project will contribute to reducing lost opportunities and better preparing young people for the Euregional education and labour market.
