The Interreg Meuse-Rhine (NL-BE-DE) programme will open a new call for proposals on 6 March 2024. The second call for projects will cover a wide-range of topics and is open to initiatives that tackle one of the following topics together with a cross-border team:
The funding is intended for projects that will have a positive impact on the above-mentioned thematic areas. To benefit from this funding, the initiatives must offer added value for the entire border region and consist of a partnership between at least two of the three programme countries.
Private sector organisations as well as public organisations that want to work together across national borders can apply to this call for proposals. Specifically, SMEs are also kindly invited to apply to the call.
The application and approval procedure is organised in a two-step process: In the first procedure for expressing interest (step 1), a decision is made on which projects will be included in a subsequent full application procedure (step 2). Step 1 will be open until 26 April 2024 (12:00 o’clock).
The programme has a budget of EUR 55.6 million available for this call for projects. The EU funding rate is 50%. Further regional co-financing can be requested from the respective programme partners.
The legal text containing further details about the procedure and requirements is currently in preparation and will be published shortly. Information on the documents to be submitted and the required content for the step 1 can also be found in the download section.
