Announcing the 5th call for projects and language simplification

On 16 April 2025, the Monitoring Committee decided on the date, set-up and language simplification for the fifth call for projects.

Ongoing 5th call for projects opens on first of July 2025

On 1 July 2025, the Interreg Meuse-Rhine (NL-BE-DE) programme will launch its fifth call for projects. The Monitoring Committee agreed on a modification of the current set up for project calls for the programme. The fifth call for projects will be an ongoing call. This means that applicants will be able to submit projects for longer and more often. We will share details on how this fifth ongoing call will be organised soon.

Language simplification in Step 1

Up until call 4, both step 1 and step 2 had to be submitted in in 4 languages: English, Dutch, French and German. To simplify the step 1 process, future applicants are allowed to choose one of the options below for the fifth call:

  • The application is submitted in English only.
  • The application is submitted in the three programme languages (Dutch, French, German).

In step 2, applicants are expected to submit their application in all four languages.
